NEWS

I figured it’d be a good idea to let you guys know that the iPhone 4 GSM is now available to buy unlocked from the Apple store. The 16GB model is $649, and the 32 GB model costs $749, a bit pricey…but unlocked! This doesn’t not include the Verizon (CDMA) iPhone, you’ll still only be able to buy those with a Verizon plan. So now you have two options, buy an iPhone 4 with a contract and unlock it with Ultrasn0w or pay 3X the price so it can be unlocked out of the box. haha

Enable HDMI Out on iPad 1, iPhone 4, & iPod Touch

The new HDMI out cable for the iPad 2 is a great way to view your iPad’s display on your HD TV but unfortunately it only works with the iPad 2. But thanks to the iOS 4.3.1 Jailbreak you can now do it on all of the new devices which include the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 and the iPad 1. The guide and pictures are inside so check it out, remember you do have to be jailbroken on 4.3+ to do this so check out the guide to do that first.
Get the Digital AV Adapter cable – http://amzn.to/hBPWhv (i’d suggest getting a used one for cheaper)
Download:
plist files
How to:
1. Using SSH go to system/library/coreservices/springboard.app/
2. Download the K48AP.plist (iPad), K90AP.plist (iPhone 4), N81AP.plist (iPod Touch 4g) file to your Mac and open in Xcode.
3. Drag and drop the .plist file for your device into the springboard.app folder through your SSH program. It should ask to overwrite the file, make sure you do that.
K48AP.plist = iPad
K90AP.plist = iPhone 4
N81AP.plist = iPod 4th Generation
4. Reboot your device!
5. Plug your device up to your TV and it should work! Be patient if it takes a minute to start working.
Have tested this with the Apple VGA Adapter and the Apple Digital AV Adapter. Users are reporting that this does not work with Apple Compositeand Apple Component cables.
